He is one of the main organizers of the International Vilnius Conferences of Probability theory.

Some moments of life of Prof. Vytautas A. Statulevicius in pictures.

Major trends of his research interests are:

He has developed an effective method of cumulams and their analogues for obtaining theorems of large deviations not only in the Gaussian but also in the Poisson and other approximations with their application in statistics and the non-commutative probability theory. He has also developed the method of logarithmic derivatives of characteristic functions in limit theorems and asymptotic expansions for dependent random variables (especially that related to a Markov chain). He was a scientific advisor of over 30 postgraduate students.
